About SBSSU, Ferozepur

Established by the Government of Punjab in 1995, the institute was initially named Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology as a tribute to the legendary martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In the academic year 2011-12, it was elevated to the status of a technical campus and renamed Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. Fully promoted by the Punjab Government, the institute operates as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and is managed by a Board of Governors. Spread across a sprawling 98-acre lush green campus with state-of-the-art facilities, the Technical Campus is located on the Ferozepur-Moga Road, approximately four kilometers from Ferozepur city.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

• For Engineering Disciplines:

  • BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in a relevant subject with First Class or equivalent in either BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.

• For Non-Engineering Disciplines:

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks, along with NET qualification or Ph.D.

• For Architecture Disciplines:

  • B.Arch and Master’s Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 60% marks.
