About Sardar Patel University, MP

Sardar Patel University is a State Private University established by the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha under Madhya Pradesh Act No. 26 of 2011, as amended by the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam 2011. This act received the Governor's assent on July 23, 2018, and was first published in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extra-ordinary)" on July 28, 2018. The university's campus is located in a lush area, covering nearly 80 acres of land owned by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, at Sardar Patel Knowledge City, Waraseoni Road, Dongariya, Balaghat (M.P.).

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Experience: As per UGC norms. Candidates with the ability to effectively conduct R&D and consultancy will be considered. Preference will be given to faculty who can promote patents, support the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), foster innovation, engage with industry, and offer other value-added courses.

Qualifications: Ph.D., Master’s degree, and Bachelor’s degree with First Class in all relevant branches of Engineering/Science, demonstrating an outstanding academic record throughout. Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Institutes of National Importance, State Government Universities, or those with an NIRF ranking of 100 or lower.
