The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) was established under the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013 at Fursatganj, Raebareli, District Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Conceived as a premier institution for higher education in aviation, the university is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research and fostering critical innovation to strengthen India's aviation industry.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Candidates must hold a doctorate in a relevant discipline from an Institute of National Importance and/or a recognized university, with a first-class or equivalent in the preceding degree and a consistently strong academic record.

Professors or retired professors from esteemed academic institutions such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs, Central Universities, or equivalent institutions in India or abroad with comparable standards are eligible.

Salary / Pay Scale ₹

A consolidated salary of ₹2,10,000 per month will be provided, with no additional allowances. For retired professors, any pension received will be taken into account to ensure that the total emoluments do not exceed the last drawn pay.
