Experience and Qualification Requirements

The candidate should have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline with strong academic performance. Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for teaching and mentoring students, along with a solid research background.

All new applicants must possess Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate degrees in a relevant or equivalent field, with a first-class standing in all previous degrees. All degrees must be obtained from institutions recognized by the UGC, AICTE, AIU, or the Government of India. Candidates with essential qualifications, such as a Ph.D. or earlier degrees from abroad, will be considered if their degrees are granted by a national university or institution in the respective country, or by institutions that rank within the top 500 in the QS/THE World Rankings.

Assistant Professor Grade I: (Pay Level 12), the experience requirement at the Assistant Professor level with an Academic Grade Pay of ₹6000 or ₹7000 refers to experience at Pay Level 10 or Pay Level 11, as outlined in MHRD letter No. F.No.15-4/2017 TC, dated October 27, 2017. These Pay Levels range from Cell No. 1-19, with salaries of ₹57,700 to ₹98,200 for Pay Level 10 and ₹68,900 to ₹1,17,200 for Pay Level 11, respectively.
