The Alumni and International Relations Office at IISER Bhopal plays a key role in fostering strong connections between alumni and their alma mater. This office facilitates alumni engagement through various activities, such as talks, webinars, events, reunions, newsletters, workshops, conferences, and symposiums. Since the Institute’s founding, the number of alumni has grown to over 1,900 across various disciplines. The office has also initiated international partnerships and facilitated the admission of international students. IISER Bhopal has begun admitting international students for various programs and offers short-term internships for them.  IISER Bhopal, an Institute of National importance, established by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for fostering science education and research in frontier areas, invites applications for the vacant faculty positions in various departments in the specified areas only.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

• Ph.D. with a first-class or equivalent in the preceding degree and specialization in the relevant field, maintaining an excellent academic record throughout, along with a demonstrated history of exceptional research capability.

• Candidates with at least three years of post-Ph.D. experience in industry, research, or teaching may be considered for this position.

• Those holding a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and having completed three years of regular service at Pay Level 12 may be eligible for placement at Pay Level 13A1, with an initial salary of ₹1,31,400/-, subject to a performance evaluation.

Salary / Pay Scale ₹

Pay Level 12 with initial pay of ₹1,01,500/-
