Salary / Compensation / Pay Scale ₹

The salary package includes the Pay in the applicable Pay Level as per the 7th CPC, along with allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance, and the Employer’s contribution to the National Pension Scheme (NPS), as per the Government of India and Institute rules, which may be updated from time to time.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat (IIIT Surat) is an Institute of National Importance, established by an Act of Parliament in 2017, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. It operates on a not-for-profit basis in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. In 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the President of India, the Governor of Gujarat, and key industry partners, including Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer and Chemicals (GNFC), Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL), and Gujarat Gas Limited. The institute commenced its operations in 2017, with Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) serving as its mentoring institution.
