About IIITDM, Kancheepuram

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Strategically located near IT and industrial corridors, the institute aims to develop engineers with strong design and manufacturing skills. Experience and Qualification Requirements

• Assistant Professor Grade-I – Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 years post-Ph.D. experience or a total of 6 years (excluding the Ph.D. enrollment period) after obtaining an M.Tech./M.E./M.Des. degree.

• Assistant Professor Grade-II – Ph.D. with at least 1 year of experience or no prior experience.

Salary / Pay Scale ₹

• Assistant Professor Grade-I- (Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400)

• Assistant Professor Grade-II- (Rs. 71,000 – 1,17,200)

• Assistant Professor Grade-II- (Rs. 70,900 – 98,200) (Without Relevant Experience)
