IKGPTU was founded on January 16, 1997, through an Act of the State Legislature to advance technical, management, and pharmaceutical education at the degree level and beyond. Initially established as Punjab Technical University, it was renamed I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University in 2015 by the State Government in honor of Late Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral, former Prime Minister of India.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

The minimum qualifications for Computer Science & Engineering and Hotel Management shall adhere to the AICTE Regulations 2019.

Salary / Pay Scale ₹

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹50,000.
