The Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (Autonomous) (GVPCE), Rushikonda, was established in 1996 and is a private institution managed by the Gayatri Vidya Parishad (GVP), an educational trust formed and promoted by academicians and technocrats in Visakhapatnam, India. The college provides education to 1,200 undergraduate students across seven engineering branches: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology. Additionally, it offers a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. All undergraduate programs received NBA accreditation in 2006. GVPCE is ranked 9th among the top 10 engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
