The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009), is a fully funded institution under the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind, serves as the Visitor of the University, with Prof. Arun K. Pujari as its Vice Chancellor. Situated in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan, CURAJ is dedicated to addressing the challenges of the knowledge era and keeping pace with advancements in higher education.

The University is committed to fostering quality across all dimensions of higher education, including teaching, learning, research, extension, and governance, while addressing both regional and global needs. CURAJ offers over 50 Masters and PhD programs across its 29 departments. It operates from a permanent campus spanning approximately 550 acres, with well-equipped hostels accommodating nearly 2,000 students.
