A.K.T Group of Institutions was established by the A.K.T Noble Cause Volunteers Trust to uplift society through value-based education, honoring the legacy of philanthropist Late Thiru A.K. Thagapillai. With over two decades of experience in academia, the management has built a strong foundation for quality education. A.K.T Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, launched in 2009-2010, is a significant milestone in the group’s journey. Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, the college is located in Neelamangalam Village, 2 km east of Kallakurichi town on the Chennai-Salem National Highway.
