Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT) was founded in 1998 as an affiliated institution under the University of Madras. It later became affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. In 2004, AVIT gained university status under the Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF) – Deemed to be University, Salem, as per Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA), Government of India. Situated on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (Old Mahabalipuram Road), AVIT spans 24.11 acres with a built-up area of 5.65 lakh sq. ft. The institution is dedicated to providing quality education to students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees with First Class in all preceding qualifications in the relevant field, demonstrating an outstanding academic record throughout.
